Animal health: an alternative way to get stress and anxiety relief

I work one day of ends not to "quit time." After working a hard day, one cannot simply rush home and immediately sit down on the couch with feet raised. After long hours of analysis of classification, tedious paper and hours of written report, the average worker simply not can relax knowing that they there are still more things to do in the House. Eight hours in the Office is followed by more chores such as cleaning the room be, wash dishes or do laundry. Being at home is equal to another work shift, but this time, without the need to wear that tie or pair long Prada heels.

However, it is a great consolation to do household chores. As opposed to being in the Office, doing more work at home allows to enjoy the benefits of being in the company of loved ones. As a bonus, the pet lover can also enjoy being with a pleasant companion that helps one get stress and anxiety in the Office. Having a pet, and you have a family, can be a real stress-buster.

Medical studies show that the stroking an animal can act as relief of anxiety. Having a pet helps lower blood pressure and relieves the emotions after a hectic day. The company of pets gives a person a State of serenity and relaxation. Easier releasing endorphins, the human hormone that kills the pain when a person enjoys the company of a pet animal. Other research has shown clearly that petting a dog can help reduce stress and anxiety. The Act of petting is not only comforting for the dog but for the owner as well.

The studies also say that vocalizations of dolphin, or the sound is produced by these inhabitants of the continental shelf, act as relief of the anxiety that may also lower blood pressure and induce calm thoughts. These specialized bodies Dolphin located below their blow holes can treat mild depression, psychological problems and developmental disabilities. These carnivorous mammals that really feed on squid and fish are not common household pets. Even so, they are used to carry out studies on animal assisted therapy to humans. Dolphin vocalizations are now being merged to classical music to produce audio for relaxation of mind in the form of CD and DVD.

Bird songs are also natural anxiety relief as those sounds bring incomparable sense of calm to the listener. Listening to the birds chirping also can relieve the mind of stress and anxiety. Psychiatrists and experts in behaviour point to such caresses animal or listen to their natural sounds can be an effective way of promoting physical and emotional health rejuvenation.

However, there are still some sectors that criticize the effectiveness of animal-assisted therapy. They say that therapy animals are not as effective as drugs for anxiety. They argue that "there still convincing scientific evidence which proves that the animal assisted therapy is a legitimate therapy, or simply a response to a fleeting mood."

Science still can not have concrete evidence of the benefits of animal-assisted therapy. But it is important to know that millions have benefited already emotionally and physically by having a pet as a companion. Still, no matter how tedious and exhausting day of his Office, had a time relaxed with his family and pets should be considered as an alternative method of "therapeutic" for promoting health.
